My Personal Big Board For The Sounders

I’m going to be the first to say I have a relatively small idea of what I’m really doing here. I have trouble enough identifying players of significant production and value. The guys up in the front office have a much better idea of all these young potential and budding stars. But I’ve done a bit of research over the last month and with help from others around the twittervese and various websites I’ve compiled a list that I think matches up well with what the Sounders need.

I don’t have the time nor the real inclination to really go into EACH of these players and why they are where they are placed which… I guess maybe defeats this whole system… I don’t know. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’d trade this pick in a heart beat. I think the general gap between the 16th spot and 23rd is relatively slim and really there maybe one or two guys that you might want that you’ll miss out.

There maybe a guy or two I left off this list. It’s either because A) I’m not his biggest fan or B) I just plain, forgot to add him. I suppose there is a part three somewhere in there, but it’s just too late and I’m not too worried about it. Some guys I imagine I’m higher on than you maybe and vice versa. In the end I guess we’ll all find out how this goes down and then we can talk about how they messed that up too!

Just as a short note; it appears that the Sounders are being connected with Emery Welshman here on a couple of late finishing mock drafts. Just a vague and interesting observance…
