First, go out and follow @yedlinny via twitter and give him the large welcome he deserves as the Sounders first ever HGP. He has some lofty expectations being placed upon him but he needs to know we’re behind him.
Second, now that Fredy is gone, Yedlin immediately has the best hair on the first team.
Third, I’m not going to pretend to know as much as anyone else about him. I’ve only seen a few games, and then of course there are his youtube videos too. He’s known for his attacking presence and seems to deliver good service to the forwards in attacking space. He’s got a bit of speed and wind that could translate into being a bit more of a wing-back but we’ll see if that gets ventured into in the coming weeks.
That’s it, the very extent of my analysis. You’ll see far better breakdowns of the youth, elsewhere.
I like goals. I like not goals, that are specifically provided by a certain 6'5 keeper. I generally think guys like Brad Evans and Patrick Ianni are undervalued. I generally believe I'm undervalued too.
